All Church Outdoor Gathering

SUNDAY, AUGUST 30

To say that this global pandemic has been a challenge would be an understatement. It’s taken lives, threatened livlihoods, and thrown every bit of normalcy out the window. And yet, in the vein of resilience we’ve been given by God, we’ve continued to move forward — one step in front of the other. We’ve found ways to creatively gather together, encourage one another, and serve our community. We’re humbled. We’re grateful. And we’re honored to be serving alongside every one of you.

In the spirit of that creativity, and with the generosity of Adobe Christian Church, we are going to gather together for the first time as a whole church since the beginning of Shelter-In-Place this Sunday, August 30. We’ll begin at 10:30 AM and will have as much of a normal liturgy as we are able. There will be no Kids Ministry but we’d encourage and anticipate all of our kiddos to participate in the Gathering with their parents.

As the Scripture commands us (cf. Romans 13:1, 1 Peter 2:13, etc.), we’re going to honor the County of Sonoma Health Officer’s and State guidelines and do so outdoors, socially distanced, and wearing masks where necessary. This allows us to both set a good example as Christians who honor Scripture and love neighbor.
