Judges 17-21

This is a sermon Daniel preached at Anthem Church to close out the series in Judges. The entire book of Judges was intended to be a solemn reminder to Israel of the consequences of misplaced affections and worship.

Recap: As we conclude our journey through the book of Judges, we are reminded of the stark differences between genuine and counterfeit Christianity. While true, joy-filled obedience to God produces life and flourishing, shallow religion and half-hearted worship lead to compromise, pain, and destruction. As fallen as we are, our merciful Father is still ever faithful to us, his people. With Christ as our advocate and Savior, let us pursue our loving Father wholeheartedly, worshipping with our whole lives as we receive his love.
