God’s ultimate expression of his glory is expressed by his Son becoming flesh and dwelling among us that he might take away the sins of the world.

All of Scripture — But especially the prophets — reveal to us that God always keeps his promises and accomplishes his purposes and he does so through his presence.

The reality that Christ will come again in glory gives us real, actionable hope in the present because it is anchored by what he’s accomplished in the past.
