Your Kingdom Come

This is a standalone sermon that Daniel preached at Petaluma Valley Baptist Church on Palm Sunday, March 25, 2018. 

Summary: We live in a culture that wants the Kingdom without it's King. But, as Christians, we have to battle the very same temptation. The jews that had flocked to Jerusalem for the Passover were quick to recognize Jesus as the messiah and subsequently praised him openly. They were correct in acknowledging Jesus as King, but they got the Kingdom in which he was inaugurating wrong. Instead of a worldly kingdom that would topple all the Gentile oppression and Roman rule, Jesus was bringing the Kingdom of Heaven down to earth.
