Sermon On The Mount – Week 8

This week we dove into the incredibly difficult topic of marriage, divorce, and remarriage. This topic is riddled by both controversy and the very real pain and hurt it has caused many people that we love so deeply. “And yet because we are convinced that the teaching of Jesus on this and every subject is good — intrinsically good, good for individuals, good for society — that [we] take [our] courage in both hands and [carry] on” — John Stott. And we approach it with grace and humility but also with boldness and determination to truly get the heart of what Jesus and the Scriptures say about the topic.
